Author Chetan Bhagat launched Dr. Rajneesh Kant’s book, Chiropractor & Physiotherapist, at a ceremony in Mumbai. The book, published by TS Publication, aims to make chiropractic care easier to understand.

Dr. Rajneesh Kant demonstrated his technique live on stage, performing a wrist adjustment on Chetan Bhagat. Bhagat expressed that he felt considerable relief and appreciated Dr. Kant’s technique.

The book introduces readers to chiropractic care, its background, clinical practices, and the fundamentals of building a chiropractic clinic. Dr. Kant’s professional philosophy is reflected in his statement, “A pain-free India is not just my dream; it is our collective resolve.”

Dr. Kant believes that awareness and understanding of chiropractic care can help people make more informed decisions about musculoskeletal health. The book explains what chiropractic care involves, when it may be considered, and how practitioners assess patients.

The book also discusses the RKM—Rajneesh Kant Method, which Dr. Kant describes as an advanced approach developed through his professional practice. Dr. Kant shares his perspective on the historical roots of manual healing in India, drawing on traditional Indian narratives.

The documented history of modern chiropractic, however, traces the development of the profession to Daniel David Palmer in the United States, who performed a chiropractic adjustment in 1895 and established the Palmer School and Cure in 1897.

Dr. Kant hopes to make information about chiropractic more accessible to readers and aspiring practitioners. “I do not just treat pain; I want people to stop living with pain,” Dr. Kant said, describing the philosophy behind his work.

The launch was attended by Jagatguru Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi Ji, a transgender spiritual leader, and Professor Dr. Ali Irani, a renowned physiotherapist. Dr. Kant expressed his admiration for Chetan Bhagat, saying, “I have been reading Chetan Bhagat’s novels since childhood and watching films based on his stories.”

Dr. Kant considers himself fortunate to share the stage with Bhagat and have his book launched by him. The book contains ten chapters covering the foundations of chiropractic care, clinical assessment, and patient education.

Through the book, Dr. Kant aims to serve as an introductory guide for readers interested in understanding chiropractic care, its principles, and its practical applications. The book is intended to introduce the subject in accessible language, with a future book expected to explore Dr. Kant’s personal techniques in greater detail.
