Stasis has launched Stasis Kids, a nutritional supplement system designed for children aged six to 17 who are on prescription stimulants. The line includes daytime and nighttime formulas, available in gummies and capsules.
These supplements are intended to complement, not replace, a child’s existing stimulant routine. Prescription stimulants like Methylphenidate (Ritalin) and Amphetamine (Adderall) are commonly used to manage Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
The brand acknowledges that while these medications are essential for many families, they can lead to energy and focus tapering later in the day and difficulty winding down in the evening.
Dan Freed, founder and CEO of Stasis, drew on his own experience growing up on stimulants. “I created Stasis Kids because I wish it was available for me when I was a child,” he said.
Freed developed the product based on feedback from parents seeking ways to support their child’s daily experience. They aim to address cortisol levels, oxidative stress, and the body’s natural sleep-wake rhythm.
The Daytime formula, taken with a child’s morning stimulant, contains 300 mg of KSM-66 Ashwagandha, 200 mg of L-theanine, 30 mg of Saffr’activ Saffron, and vitamin D3, vitamin B12, and selenium.

The Nighttime formula, taken 30 to 60 minutes before bed, includes 50 mg of magnesium glycinate, 15 mg of zinc glycinate, 1.7 mg of vitamin B6 as P5P, 150 mg of L-theanine, and 40 mg of vitamin C.
Stasis reports that 16.5 million people in the US were dispensed prescription stimulants in 2023, a 48% increase over a decade, according to a Drug Enforcement Administration analysis.
The company states that Stasis Kids is third-party tested for active ingredients, microbials, heavy metals, and pesticides. The formulas are free from the top nine major food allergens, contain no artificial dyes, and are low in sugar. Such testing protocols aim to reassure parents about product safety and purity.
Perry Mandanis, a member of the Stasis Scientific Advisory Board and a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, emphasized the need for such a supplement. “The need for a pediatric supplement that supports a positive mood, promotes calm, and makes it easier for kids to get the nutrients they need in one convenient form is enormous,” he said.
Study supports Ashwagandha dosage and nutrient gaps addressed
An eight-week, placebo-controlled trial involving 58 children identified 300 mg of KSM-66 Ashwagandha as the optimal amount to support the body’s stress response. The study informs the daytime formula’s dosage.
Stasis notes that stimulant therapy can lower levels of specific minerals and vitamins, and the nighttime blend is formulated to replenish those nutrients. Additional ingredients are intended to aid relaxation and provide antioxidant support.
