Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) has introduced the Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) 2026, a nationwide talent identification test that has attracted more than 10 million student participants since its launch 16 years ago. The initiative aims to help young learners recognize their academic strengths and develop strategies for competitive success.
The exam functions as a meticulously designed diagnostic tool, measuring students’ proficiency in core subjects, problem-solving skills, analytical reasoning, and test-taking strategies. Each question targets specific learning objectives and competencies, enabling participants to gain deeper insights into their performance beyond conventional scoring.
Impact on Competitive Exam Outcomes
ANTHE has demonstrated its effectiveness in shaping the trajectories of students who have gone on to excel in major national entrance examinations. In NEET UG 2026, 31 of the 41 Aakash students ranked among the top 100 had previously qualified through ANTHE. Similarly, in JEE Advanced 2026, 7 out of the 11 top-performing candidates came from the ANTHE participant pool.
Chandra Sekhar Garisa Reddy, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AESL, emphasized that “For us, ANTHE has never been just an examination that determines a student’s scholarship. Its larger purpose is to help students understand their own academic potential at a stage when the right guidance can make a meaningful difference. Over 16 years, more than one crore students have trusted ANTHE as an opportunity to benchmark themselves and understand where they stand.
What makes the examination valuable is the depth of insight it provides not just what a student scored, but what that performance tells them about their strengths, their preparedness and the areas they need to work on. We want every student to come away from ANTHE with greater clarity about their academic journey and a more informed path forward.”
Every participant receives an in-depth ANTHE Intelligence Report that transforms test results into actionable academic recommendations. The report highlights individual subject strengths and weaknesses while offering a competitive readiness assessment to guide future preparation efforts.

Exam Relevance and Incentives
ANTHE benefits students at various academic stages, not just those actively preparing for JEE or NEET. Through national performance comparisons, participants can evaluate their standing against peers nationwide. The assessment also helps identify specific areas needing improvement as students progress toward competitive examinations.
Scholarship opportunities remain a key component of ANTHE, with qualifying students eligible for up to 100% tuition waivers for Aakash’s Classroom, Hybrid, and Digital programs. Additionally, the 2026 edition offers ₹2.5 crore in cash awards for top performers.
Registration for ANTHE 2026 is currently open through the official portal and AESL centers nationwide. The online examination will be conducted from October 27 to November 1, 2026, while the offline examination will be held on October 11th, 25th and November 1st, 2026. The examination is open to students from Classes V to XII.
AESL operates a nationwide network of over 415 education centers serving more than 400,000 enrolled students. The organization has established itself as a leading exam preparation provider over its 37-year history, specializing in medical (NEET) and engineering (JEE) entrance preparation. AESL operates under the Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG), a diversified conglomerate with significant operations in education, healthcare, and health insurance sectors.
