SDA churches second stage ‘Glow Run’ for healthy living

“The Gospel and health message go hand in hand”, said Seventh Day Adventist Pastor, Brent St Jean after a successful ‘Glow Run’ last Saturday evening, May 4, 2024.

The activity began at 7:00 pm at Heritage Square, Kingstown, and finished on the tarmac of the decommissioned ET Joshua airport where a ”burnout segment”, was held.

In excess of one thousand participants turned up for the Glow run Pastor Brent estimated, although many walked for part of the journey.

Pickleball Exhibition, Senior Health Fair takes place in Biloxi

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – Players grabbed their paddles and took part in a pickleball exhibition in Biloxi this week.

The open-play exhibition and senior health fair is a way to keep the aging population young and healthy.

The Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District teamed up with Mississippi Gulf Coast Pickleball to make this happen at the Donald Snyder Community Center.

One player says she moved across the country to play here on the Coast.
